their pursuit of Neymar as Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to sell
the Brazilian this summer.
Madrid face the prospect of ending the
season without a trophy under Zinedine Zidane and are already putting plans in
place to sign new players. Neymar is high on Madrid’s wanted list as the club
view him as their long-term successor to Cristiano Ronaldo, who is weighing up
whether to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Last week, Neymar was booed by his own fans in
the 8-0 win over Dijon after denying Edinson Cavani the chance to take a
penalty which, if he converted, would’ve broken Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record of
156 goals for the club.
