 Poem for international women's Day 

    "Give to Gain": Women, the light 

She rises before dawn breaks the sky,

Hands that hold the world together,

Dreams woven between duties,

Strength disguised as tenderness.

Give your voice to the silenced

Watch courage multiply.

Give your hand to lift another

See how high you both can fly.

From boardrooms to classrooms,

Kitchen tables to conference halls,

She plants seeds of possibility

In soil others said was barren.

Give respect where it's been withheld,

Give credit long overdue,

Give opportunities freely

The world grows brighter when you do.

Mother, daughter, sister, friend,

Scientist, artist, leader, guide,

Each story a thread in the tapestry

Of progress we cannot hide.

Give justice to the forgotten,

Give hope to those who wait,

Give love that breaks down barriers

Together, we reshape fate.

Today we celebrate not just your strength,

But the gift of your giving heart,

For when women rise and lift each other,

A new world begins to start.

Give to gain not for yourself alone,

But for all who follow your light,

For in your generous spirit

Burns tomorrow's brighter sight.
