What is your aim , intention and function in your family, school, church, place of work and to your generation as a whole in time like this?
In time like this, our present world, the situation and happenings of this present generation as described in 2Timothy3vs1: when men are lovers of their own selves, more than lovers of God, covetous, boasters, proud, disobedient to parents, unholy ... this time that ladies dress naked saying notice me, come and have me and guys dress uselessly. This is the time in which fornication is the order of the day, worldliness prevails in the church, and Christians are being killed for their faith with many strange occurrences.
A sister and a brother with a purpose in a time like this, is a sister and a brother who know the reason behind him or her existence, a brother and a sister who knows what he or she is living for, who is not a bench warmer in the church, who will not be begged or forced to service the Lord. A brother or a sister who is ready to work for God at all time and walking according to God's plans.
As a child of God, have you ask yourself why you are in this generation? Your important and impact for God in this dispensation? These are the question you must always ask yourself.
Beloved brethren, what are you using that talent, gift, beauty, resources, time and everything the Lord had bestowed on you, is it populating or depopulating the kingdom of God? What is your aim , intention and function in your family, school, church, place of work and to your generation as a whole? Are you busy for the Lord? Remember he that stands for nothing will fall for everything. Are you standing for the truth in a time like this? Are you waging war against immoral dressings in a time like this? Are you telling others about Jesus everyday in time like this? Do you know the mind of God in a time like this? Do you intercede for this nation and others in a time like this?
A brother or a sister of purpose in a time like this must have a burden for the lost souls and the mind of Christ rather than sitting down idle complaining about someone or about how things should be done blaming someone for negligence of his or her duties? Brethren in Christ, arise, function, take action, be relevant, know the reason behind your existence and be useful for the Lord. Brethren, the Lord is counting on you and I in time like this. Don't live a purposeless or a wasted life. Always remember that you are wonderfully made by God. Hope to see you live a purposeful life in a time like this.
