Mr. Timi Frank, an APC chieftain has advised Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the National Chairman of the party to resign and retire from politics and return to his village to embrace farming.
Frank, who was a known supporter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who has already defected from APC to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP  said it is necessary for Oyegun to quit to avoid ridiculing the ruling party.
Frank spoke while commending President Muhammadu Buhari for opposing the plan to extend the tenure of Chief Oyegun led National Working Committee, NWC of APC.
While also agreeing that the proposed extension of tenure of the National Working Committee of APC was unconstitutional, Frank said he expects the party’s national chairman and the NWC to take a cue on how to run a ruling party from PDP, as there is no crime in learning what one doesn’t know.
