WHY
GOV. ABUBAKAR’S CANDIDATE LOST BAUCHI PRIMARY ELECTION – NASIRU DARAZO
An All Progressives Congress chieftain in Bauchi state has
said that governor Abubakar’s candidate lost the Bauchi South senatorial
bye-election primary to reps member for Toro was an indication that the party
will surely lose to the opposition ahead of 2019 election.
Alhaji Nasiru Darazo exclusively hinted reporters Thursday in Bauchi.
He said it’s unfortunate that even with the choice of Reps,
Yahaya Gumau, it does not mean that APC will win the senatorial bye-election.
” Even if President Buhari and the APC National Chairman decide to relocate to
Bauchi during the bye-election, APC will not win because Gumau is not an
acceptable choice of the people for underperforming at the National Assembly
chamber in terms of contributing his quota,” Darazo claim
The APC chieftain stressed that Abubakar’s candidate Dr
Nadabo lost because Abubakar is no longer in control of the party, therefore,
an indication that he may lose his second term bid.
He, therefore, urged the electorates to vote out APC during
the senatorial bye-election to serve as a warning ahead of 2019 election.
